Reviewer checkpoint: an illustrative concept
This is a fictional, future-state concept. It shows one possible design for a reviewer checkpoint in the TrustShyft platform, which is in development. It is not a live capability, it is not a deliverable from a workflow assessment, and it will change during development. The lender, reviewer, matter, AI tool and figures are fictional.
Review an AI-assisted output
Read the output, check it against the source documents, then record what you decided and why. You are making this decision, not the AI.
Applicants appear to meet serviceability for the requested loan at the lender's assessment rate. Net surplus after commitments is estimated at $612 per month. Living expenses were taken from the declared figure, which is above the HEM benchmark for this household.
- Second applicant's income includes overtime averaged over 6 months.
- One credit card limit ($15,000) is assumed to be closed before settlement.
- Surplus is within 10% of the lender's minimum buffer.
Accountable role: Credit representative
Say what you looked at and what changed your mind, if anything. A reference to the matter is enough; avoid adding client details you don't need.
What the concept explores
- The reviewer sees the AI-assisted output marked as a draft, with points worth checking and links to the source documents
- They record what they checked against the source
- They choose to accept, accept with changes, reject or escalate
- They explain why in their own words
- They confirm that they reviewed the output and made the decision themselves
What it does not show
- A working feature. The platform is in development, and this design may change or be dropped.
- That a review was meaningful. A record documents captured review activity; it does not by itself show that the judgement was sound.
- Compliance with any law or standard. See our Disclaimer.
