Behavioural Governance for AI™
A sign-off isn’t proof that anyone checked.
If AI drafts, summarises or recommends anything in your organisation, I help you build human review into the work and keep a record of it you can show a client, insurer or regulator.
So you know where oversight is working, you’re not caught out by a question you can’t answer, and you can stand behind the work.
The problem
Where oversight slips.
Often it’s not a lack of policy. It’s the conditions people work in: time pressure, tools that make review easy to skip, and records that show a box was ticked but not what was checked.
What I do
What an assessment shows you.
I look at one workflow where AI is used and show you:
- where human review happens, and where it doesn’t
- what gets in the way, such as workload, tools or unclear expectations
- what evidence you have, and what it can and can’t show
- what to fix first, as prioritised recommendations
This can be a standalone assessment, or part of a Business Improvement engagement where AI is already in the processes being improved.
Who it suits
- Professional services firms, advisers and brokers using AI in client work
- Organisations of any size where AI drafts or decides things that affect people
- Leaders and boards who need to show how oversight works in practice
Probably not the right fit
- You need a compliance sign-off or certification
- You need legal advice
- You need a technical audit of the AI model itself
The TrustShyft platform
What this could look like.
The TrustShyft platform is being designed to record human review at the moment it happens. It is in development; assessments and advisory are available now. See the reviewer checkpoint concept.
Concept mockup with fictional data. Features shown are not available and may change. Read the thinking behind it in This is What it Looks Like (Behavioural Governance for AI, Edition 11).
Behavioural Governance for AI is a developing framework and has not yet been empirically validated. Assessments are advisory, not certification or legal advice. See the Disclaimer.
Do you know where AI is used in your work today?
One workflow is a practical place to start. We’ll look at where review happens, what evidence you have and what to improve.
